About Me

I grew up in Minneapolis, MN and have lived in Connecticut, Michigan, and Tennessee.

I’m currently a Ph.D. student in the College of Communication and Information Science at the University of Tennessee. I’m part of the Sciencelinks2 grant program and unsurprisingly my interests are in science information and communication. In particular the interaction between experts and non-experts.

I studied philosophy and English at Yale University as an undergraduate back in the very early days of the internet. I got a master’s degree in information science from the University of Michigan.
